We are pleased that you have chosen Faith+Journey Lutheran Church as the place to start your marriage.  We want each couple to have a beautiful wedding, but also a rich and healthy marriage relationship that will last for a lifetime.


We want to help you plan a wedding and ceremony with Christ at the center,

a worship service that celebrates the love of God and our love for each other, and an event which will be a blessed memory for you to share in the years to come.


Both of our campuses are open to celebrate your wedding.  

Our 40th Ave Campus has ample outdoor space if you desire an outdoor wedding.

Planning Your Wedding

Now that God has lead you both to desire to publicly declare your love and fidelity in marriage, it is important that every possible step be taken to ensure that you not only have a beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremony, but also a rich and healthy marriage relationship. We pray that you will allow Jesus Christ to dwell with you so that you will experience all that God has for you as you build your marriage with God as the foundation.


Your wedding day is one of the most important occasions in your life, and we are pleased that God has led you to include the church in your plans. The wedding service is an event that will go by all too quickly; it will be a time to praise God, who is the source of all love. Your marriage, we pray, will last a lifetime. It is important, therefore, for you to have an intentional time to plan both for the wedding service and for the life-long commitment that you are making to each other.

Our Goal

The goal of Faith✟Journey is to make your wedding a joyful and beautiful event. We hope and pray that your wedding day will be one of the happiest days of your life and that you will include God as you begin this new journey together.

Pre-Marital Meetings

It is the expectations of the Pastors that every couple who wishes to be married at Faith✟Journey or by Faith✟Journey pastors participate in pre-marriage counseling.  We do not do this to make the months before your marriage a hassle, or you and your fiance need to be "taught" how to be married.   We do this because we know, through experience, how vital it is to communicate with one another and how vital communication is often overlooked.  These "blind spots" result in speed bumps and roadblocks in your relationship which can impede your ability to experience the abundance of life moving forward.


Be prepared for an enriching experience as you and your partner enter into in-depth conversations concerning subjects such as communication, conflict management, finances, faith, sex, friends, commitment and family.  Contact the church office to be connected to one of our Pastors and they will guide you through the process of taking the Prepare/Enrich Pre-Marital Survey.

Your Wedding

Your marriage is, without a doubt, one of the most important choices in the course of your life. We believe that good preparation for marriage is essential. We also believe that good marriage preparation will require significant time and energy. You are, after all, making a lifetime commitment.


Below is a guide to holding your wedding at Faith✟Journey Lutheran Church.

Reserving your Wedding Date

A reservation fee/deposit of $100 is required to reserve Faith+Journey for your wedding. Your date is NOT secure until this deposit is paid.  Reception of the deposit locks in the date & time that you have chosen for your wedding.


The reservation fee also serves as a damage deposit and is refundable after your wedding. Loss of the damage deposit will result if the building is not left in good order. To reserve your wedding date, please call Sally at 701.282.3309 .


Once you have reserved your date,  make sure print and fill out the Application and mail to the church office – Address: 125 2nd Ave E West Fargo, ND 58078 – along with your $100 deposit, within 14 days.


Wedding Fees


Member Fee: $450 - to qualify for the member level, either the bride or the groom must be ACTIVE members of the congregation.  If neither bride nor groom has been a member of Faith✟Journey, they must have been accepted into membership for at least one year prior to the wedding date.


Non-Member Fee: $650
