H2H is held on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9:00PM at the 2nd Ave Campus.

H2H is our confirmation program for students in grades 7-9. Our goal is to take the knowledge of the faith from the head ➜ heart where Christ can dwell, sustaining the students through the highs and lows of life.

The Head to the Heart curriculum from Faith Inkubators is based on the large/small group model, and is designed to be relevant to the lives of today’s teens.

Our large group time begins with high energy music led by the youth band, and includes skits, games, and Bible time, along with the Pastor’s teaching. (And a few creative interruptions to keep the kids guessing!)

Large group time closes with a quiet wrap up of the theme and a prayer/imagination journey.

Following large group time, small groups (a handful of kids with 1-2 adult parent guides) span out to every corner of the church. They share their highs and lows of the previous week, and talk about what they heard in large group. Discussion questions are designed for students to grapple with how the theme applies in their daily lives.

What happens at church shouldn’t stay at church…

We head out into the community for Servant and Fellowship Events. These are opportunities for small groups to build relationship with each other and to serve in Christ’s name. These events are planned by the small groups, and are scheduled on Wednesday nights in place of regular confirmation!

H2H happens every night in every home through Home Huddles
