Via de Cristo
Searching for a deeper relationship with God and others check out Via de Cristo. Learn more…
The weekend running from Thursday night to Sunday night, with separate men’s and women’s weekends that follow each other. During the weekend, participants will hear a series of 14 talks, learning practical ways to lead a Christian life in their homes, workplaces and communities. There are also small discussion groups as well as lots of singing, laughing, maybe a few emotional moments, and definitely LOTS of food! Participants are taken care of the whole weekend by previous participants who are now on “team”. It is a refreshing getaway from the real world that will renew spirits and give reminders of the grace of God.
Faith Lutheran and Journey in Faith is a part of the Lutheran Via de Cristo of Minnesota community, northern region, which means that participants will attend their whole weekend at a church somewhere in Minnesota or eastern North Dakota. Weekends are held throughout the region at host churches.
If you are interested in attending a Via de Cristo weekend, or would like more information, talk to any of the pastors at Faith and Journey. They can put you in contact with someone from the larger Via de Cristo community, who can answer questions and help you find a weekend to attend.
