The Church Council and eight Administrative Teams make up the leadership of Faith Lutheran and Journey In Faith.
The Church Council consists of the President, Vice Presidents (2), Treasurer, Secretary, Director of each Administrative Team and Pastors of the congregation. Functions of the council are to:
- Serve as the point of liaison between pastors, officers of the congregation, and the various administrative teams in planning the total work of the congregation.
- Settle any differences of opinion between the teams. Assign all groups functioning within or under the sponsorship of Faith Lutheran/Journey in Faith to an administrative team for guidance and administration.
- Present to the congregation at its October meeting a yearly plan of activity for the entire congregation and a long-range plan for development and expansion, in addition to setting the dates and preparing the agenda for the three meetings of the congregation.
